Comments: When we decided to have a sale we didn’t realize how difficult it would be to find a calf to lead off with, but there is no better place to start than with this Monopoly x Manchild mating. This heifer has that freaky front everyone is looking for, she is really big pinned, long and deep sided, if this isn’t enough her best quality is her ability to get out and move she is as sound as they come and is most definitely first year 4-H’er friendly, don’t be left behind on this one.

Sire: choppin wood
Dam: hairybear

Comments: The day this calf was born we thought we had struck gold! As you can see from her picture and video she is really cool fronted, big hipped, heavy boned, Hairy as can be and can really get out and move. One cattlemen stated “she is really big structured and as freaky as it sounds gets out and moves like a jungle cat”, he also added “this is the BEST Choppin Wood calf he had seen born”. This is one that can go out and compete at any level, all cattlemen will have this one on their list, pull up a seat and be a part of the fireworks on sale day, show her rather than show against her.

Sire: M.A.B.
Dam: Patton
Date of Birth: 3/4/2016
Sex: Steer
Breed: Cross
Location of Cattle: 1142 Kiowa Ave; Earlham, IA 50072
Consigner: Wes Reynolds (515) 306-2700; Skylar Brittain (515) 250-0747
Comments: When we purchased this Patton cow out of Yardley’s sale we had a couple different matings in mind. This MAB steer is one of the reasons we knew this cow was special. He does all the things needed to be competitive, and it all starts at the ground. Big feet and secure in his joints with all the right angles. All of which lays the foundation for his added body and width that will allow him to get better with days on feed. Look in here because a steer that does all the fundamentals right are hard to come by. Don’t miss out!
