OKLAHOMA CITY ― For those who dared to question how an older, yet wiser, Bushwacker would be after three months off, they got their answer Saturday night in Oklahoma City.

He was marked 46.75 points after bucking off J.B. Mauney in 3.48 seconds.

It’s the fifth consecutive time at a Built Ford Tough Series event that the two-time World Champion Bull has been marked 46 points or better.

“Oh, he had a good trip,” said his owner Julio Moreno. “It might have been one of his better trips in a while. He was good.”

Moreno announced on Thursday the 2014 season would be the reigning World Champion Bull’s last.

Saturday night, at the Chesapeake Energy Arena, Bushwacker was matched up with his longtime rival J.B. Mauney in the 15/15 Bucking Battle in a much-talked about meeting of World Champions.
