Cattle Industry Convention to kick off Feb. 3 Nashville

What do you get when you pack several thousand cattlemen and cattlewomen as well as industry stakeholders ranging from veterinarians, university and extension specialists, business leaders and more into one location for four days? The annual cattle industry convention, of course, which kicks off Monday, February 3 in Nashville.

The annual event begins with a two-day Cattlemen’s College that provides valuable seminars, hands-on training and forums for cattle producers to learn the latest information, ranging from domestic and international marketing, sustainability, animal welfare, herd management, consumer preference, the environment and agricultural policy to name a few. Cattlemen’s College, hosted by Zoetis Animal Health, is recognized as one of the nation’s most thorough educational programs for cattle producers.

The convention will officially kick-off Tuesday afternoon with the Opening General Session and grand opening of the NCBA Trade Show. Over the course of the next two and a half days, cattlemen and women will have the opportunity to attend meetings, seminars and educational forums hosted by NCBA, the Cattlemen’s Beef Board, the American National CattleWomen, CattleFax and more.
