Cattle Theft from Indiana Farm

Author: Kristy

IBCA member Jim Martin from Bargersville was the victim of a crime when 11 show quality heifers were stolen from his farm in Trafalgar.  The missing head were noticed on the morning of Monday, October 20th.  The calves weigh between 600-900 pounds and all had yellow ear tags when stolen.  The ear tags have Martin Livestock printed on them.  All of the heifers also have tattoos in their ears.

Sale barns have been notified to be on the lookout and we wanted to let our producers and allied industry partners know as well.

If you have any information, please call Jim Martin at 317-431-0618 or the farm manager at 931-224-3565.
