Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC) in Germany often serves as the first stop for wounded service members before they are transported stateside for more comprehensive medical care. In recognizing this, Wounded Warrior Project developed the Resiliency Program, which re-connects warriors with LRMC and encourages staff at the hospital.

Every month Wounded Warrior Project highlights a warrior who received treatment at LRMC and records an interview with their family. The interview provides an opportunity for the warrior to say “thank you” to the staff at LRMC and the staff gets an epilogue that shows how the warrior has moved on in life and why their care is so important.”
