We always try to offer a couple really good Shorthorn marked steers to go South and this one may be as good as we have had. Cocky looking, big backed, and muscular while maintaining the flexibility and show steer proportions it takes to win. He is slightly vision impaired (more so in his right eye) and because of that he will require more patience than some but we have been slow with him and he has acted very well recently in getting washed and worked with. Good feeding breed steer. We liked this one as soon as he hit the ground. Awesome built with tons of style and presence. Big bodied, good footed steers that are well balanced and flexible are the kind that workout in the end. He isn’t blessed with the densest hair coat, but knowing how well these Gaga calves feed we definitely think he has the right pieces. He is a maternal sib to the Newman steer from Fort Worth and the AI sire Brand New Man (maternal sib AI sires are in the additional pictures). Summer/Midwest State Fair sized.
