Good feeding breed steer. We liked this one as soon as he hit the ground. Awesome built with tons of style and presence. Big bodied, good footed steers that are well balanced and flexible are the kind that workout in the end. He isn’t blessed with the densest hair coat, but knowing how well these Gaga calves feed we definitely think he has the right pieces. He is a maternal sib to the Newman steer from Fort Worth and the AI sire Brand New Man (maternal sib AI sires are in the additional pictures). Summer/Midwest State Fair sized. With the Grand Steer at Louisville in 2021 being a Red Rocky x Monti we had to follow in Rick’s footsteps and breed our Monti daughters to Red Rocky and it hit hard with this red calf. As powerful and honest in his build as you can make one and extremely big footed. He’s built for slickin’ off and going South but this ones structure, proportions and muscle are what we strive for. Being smooth poled and red… can he class Red Angus? I don’t have those answers but he will look awful good in the red cross division as well. Very good natured. Summer-Fall sized.
